Most of these type things are not done intentionally. I know I'm guilty of using my folder to do things it shouldn't do simply because I was too lazy to walk to the garage and get the right tool. Then when it snaps the tip off you go "Damn! I'm a dumbass!!"
Some dude was prying bricks out of his driveway and snapped it. Shipping him a new one. Thought about sending him a crow bar from Home Depot with the new knife.![]()
I have read the warranty and love it but damn. If I am prying bricks and tip my knife (which is something I might do in a fit of stupidity), I will suck it up, call myself an idiot, and drop the money for a new one. I would be too embarrassed to contact anyone.
Since your warranty is so awesome, I wanted to let you know I was trying to pry open a bank vault that I was robbing this weekend, and thought my new RC-3 would open it no problem. It tipped it, can I get a new one? Please hide it in a birthday cake and send it to cell block D Level 3 NC State Pen.
Whitty
I was wondering if there were any plans to "upgrade" the thickness of the RC3. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the knife as is but it does seem a little skinny now next to its samller brother the Izula. BTW I don't personally pry with my knives. But if I had to......
Check out the RC-5:thumbup: That would be a supreme crowbar
When I recently received my RC-5 that is what immediately went through my mind. A sharpened crow bar indeed. With a bit more refinement, but not much.
I need to get and RC-3 and 4 to actually cut stuff with.![]()

Looked like an orange-handled bladetech piece, if I remember correctly.
