Ive had the green temperance plain balde. By far the strongest knife and most durable blade, lock, everysthing i have ever owned. But i recently lost it. Is the manix 83mm just as good, if not what is and maybe smaller or cheaper

The 83mm manix is a solid tank of a knife. I personally have never held a folder aside from the large striders that "felt" as heavy duty, and I'd sooner bet my money on a spyderco lockback than any framelock.

IT was the the lil temperance, green, amazing, priceless knife . youd think it was a fixed blade.

My condolences on your loss:(

I'd second the Mini Manix, or if you'd prefer a comp lock, the Para-Military might be an option.

I had one of those Lil' Temps. Mine was green with 440V steel. I have also had a Mini-Manix. Heads up, I think the Mini-Manix is a better knife by a little bit. It doesn't blow the Lil'Temp out of the water but I think the design is more refined. It takes up much less room in the pocket and carrys better than the LT. It has a better lock than the LT that is ambi friendly. It carries easier than the LT esp. in tip down carry. It has a better clip than the LT. The LT looked better and was finish just a bit nicer but not enough to outweight all the benefits of the Mini-Manix. When you figuire that the LT now goes for close to $200 and the Mini can be had for about half that, it is a no brainer. There is simply no way the LT is worth twice what a Mini Manix is worth.
