Sorry to hear of your loss. Our last one, my wife couldn’t bear to go with me. My brother found someone that came to the house so it was easier to be in familiar surroundings.

Sorry to hear Terry. I had to put my buddy down 6 years ago and I still think about him a lot.

Just remember, you enriched his/her life just as much as he/she enriched yours.

We've had to put several critters down in our house. They're family, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It's always miserable to have to do it, but at some point, you just can't let them hurt any longer. Wouldn't be right.
 
Losing the dog my family had when I was growing up was tough because she was in so many ways my dog The dog my parents had after her was 100% my dads dog and while it hurt I know it hurt my dad more than it did me when he went. Few animals and fewer people let you know you are loved like a dog will let you know.
 
If a person loves dogs, there aren't many, if at all any, words to make someone feel better when the time comes to say goodbye to a VERY BEST friend.
So sorry for your loss!

I know that pain all too well, I'm sorry you lost your buddy. The only thing that helps the sadness is to go get you a new buddy. My condolences brother
