Had to put my little buddy to sleep yesterday.

Sorry about your bunny... they are hard pets to lose. One piece of advice if you get 2 bunnies take them to the vet and have the vet make sure that they are either both female or have one fixed. 2 males together will fight, and a male and a female will very very quickly over populate your house. I learned that from experience. I bought 2 rabbits a few years back and I was told that they were both female, WRONG!!! I ended up with about 8 little surprises one morning. The babies are absolutely adorable though... If you need any bunny or animal advice I'm studying to be a Vet so maybe I could help.;)
BTW... most vets will make house calls for putting pets to sleep.

Thanks again all for the sympathy and advice. I am going this weekend to a branch of the American House Rabbit Society to adopt a couple of unwanted bunnies. I think I may get litter mates, sisters. The organization is like the SPCA. You pay the adoption fee that covers their medical costs, like getting them fixed. All adopted rabbits from them are fixed. They have singles, pairs and trios for adoption so they can keep bunnies who are used to one another together. I am going for a pair but who knows...
