Had to sell my Rc-5...

You should have whored yourself out on the street for money first.

LOL for some reason I didn't think about being a whore...wish I could have thought of that.

Don't worry about it. At least you're learning about what needs to be taken care of while you're young.

Sadly it takes some of us a LOT longer to learn these lessons of life.

Been there myself. Didn't like it much.
-On the positive side. With the following it has and the quality committment that the owners have, RAT Cutlery isn't going anywhere, short of the 2nd Coming... So when your pasture turns green again you can start rebuilding the RC collection.

Gotta take care of business before the pleasure, Good Luck

you will live (although with a small hole in your heart where the 5 was), just think is a couple of years you can relive the moment of opening that box that came in the mail and finding your new "baby" waiting to refill the hole. (somehow that sounded sooooo much better in my head)

Well put!!

I've accrued a significant amount of credit card debt, so I had to free up some funds. I decided to sell my Rc-5 :(. I usually am the advocate of the rc-5 on the rat forum but I decided that the Rc-4 would be a better choice to keep than the Rc-5. So I still have my Rc-4 and Izula. Tell me I made the right decision...

you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes. Look at it this way, you STILL have TWO awesome RATs to use, and another person gets to experience a RAT knife.

win win all around, and once your employed down the road you can always buy another RC5!

Sorry to hear you had to give up your RC-5, It's difficult to part with a good knife.
