I had a talk with the owner and my boss here at the shop. The clock is oficially counting down to my full time knifemaking career. I'll probably be here for another 4 weeks or so to train my replacement, but as soon as he's able to be on his own, I'm outta here! Fletcher Knives will officially be my job and I can't wait!!!

Congrats man... Though you've probably just cursed me with another obsession....

Congrats and he'd like to offer a 50% discount to all ESEE forum members! Yay! :D

Best of luck Dylan. If your first offerings are any indication we're going to be hearing alot more about Fletcher Knives in the future. I'm glad I was able to snag one of the first. ;)

Any plans for a Fletcher knives forum? :D

Perhaps a little further down the road. Unitl I get a bunch of these in people's hands, I'll just keep spamming Andy's forum. :D

I just had a lot of fun sending the "Official Resignation" email. I almost got a little choked up as I was about to send it, thinking about the good friends my boss Sean, owner Wallace, and coworker Larry turned out to be and all the times we've hung out and gone hunting and shooting. Then, I remembered how much my last few paychecks were and almost pushed the enter key right through the f@#$in keyboard. :p

Best wishes in your new career.

May it be the success you hope for ... and maybe just a bit more.

The hatchula looks like a serious field knife, great name too! What steel will be used? I could not find the specs. Good for you.
