i have several knives for drawings and most likely will put one up soon as i check both pay pal accounts...

after the next 7 contrubiters i will put that sheath that the rubber bucky went around with up then!!! and maby a knife with it!

I have a Haebbie story that I feel I have to share with you all. Bear with me on this one because it's going to have shades of deja vue (a la Maverick), but this one has a much different ending. About a year ago, I was attempting to locate a Buck LE (and that's how I ended up finding this forum by the way). After searching for about a month on the internet, the only one I could find was though the internet in a knife store in Germany. I contacted the dealer and he requested a wire transfer of funds (around $300 total) to ship the knife. I knew this was a risky deal at best, but I really wanted that knife so I elected to take a chance. Following payment, the dealer contacted me and informed me the knife was no longer available from his supplier. I repeatedly requested that he return payment, but received numerous excuses on his part so I pretty much wrote this off as a lesson learned. I continued to "lurk" around this forum for a period of time, and noted what a close group most of you were and how many of you went out of your way to assist what you all termed "Buck Brothers." I eventually posted a few responses and voiced that respect, although several forumites took exception to that for fear I might have ulterior motives (but I digress). In any case, several months ago, I contacted Haebbie and explained this whole situtation to him. I did not expect any results, but I at least wanted someone else in Germany to know this guy was a crook. Well, Haebbie took control of things and within about three weeks my payment was returned. Don't know what or how you did that Haebbie, but thank you. So my point to all this is that I have had personal communication with Decaffe over the past few weeks, and he has expressed some concern over the present state of the effort to bring Haebbie to Post Falls. I was about ready to send Dave a check on my part when I decided to send him a duplicate Yellowhorse 532 to list on ebay instead with all proceeds going toward that fund. Haebbie's response on my behalf is a great example (to me at least) of what the Buck Brotherhood is all about, and I hope and urge all of you to support Dave's effort to whatever degree you can. Incidentally, one of you subsequently located that Buck knife for me right here in the good old USA. God bless you Buck Bros!!

many thanks for your kind words. But don't fuss, it only needs two mails with an according tenor and the money went out. It is a matter of course that I do that for you, especially at this dealer who has not the best reputation in Germany. He offers items which he doesn't have. He looks at the catalogs of the knife manufacturers, put the interesting knifes in his internet offer and if somebody likes to have one he orders it and send it to the buyer. So he is able to make a good price, but sometimes he offers products which are no longer available since a long time. But the seller is disliked in Germany. He makes always trouble with warranty cases, and, you had the impression, with paying back money.

I am looking foreward to meet you all in Post Falls. Next week I have an appointment at the Local Public Office to apply for a new passport. With the new biometric passport it is no longer necessary to buy a Visum for traveling to the U.S. Then I am ready to go.

i was timeing it so most have their tax return and perhapps some left over for knife stash!!!

note to all i will be in florida with limited and i mean limited internet access!!
were i am at we are damm lucky to not have to have party lines for the phone!!!

well i have selected a 525 nra etched 2002 issue buck lite to draw on at this level.. the wife on reading over my sholder sujested that donations over 60 $ have their name in 2 times as the avage is some thing like 35$
so it will go that way as she will draw the names to win ...
and the name she pulled is .... tada... Mr Stockdog...

now likely when things get to 500$ i will do a drawing on a sheath...
i had wanted to keep that sheath that was made by
Jack (Rudderjt on this forum) for the rubber bucky...
but so many liked it that it will go on the block so that some one that realy liked it can have a chance to own it!!!

note worthy PS i sent the money that was in the kitty to Herbert
i belive he has made his air line reservations and gotten his passport up dated room is yet to be delt with...
so it is real close thing baring accadent or death he will be there in post falls to shake hands and i hope he will share a room with me even tho i snore!

I'll be gone when those knives go up for auction but will try to get in on the auctions if possible. Not sure about internet where I'm going yet.

i spoke with Joe the other day,,,
word is one of the 120's is almost ready!!!
(it was but he wanted to 'fix' a thing on it)
and that he will list it under his acount on ebay...
then he will finish the another and list it also...
Sparks (HPIC) has kindly given premision to list/link thoes ebay listings
here when they happen.. NOTE:
this will be an exception to the rules of the form for fundraseing only !

334, when you list this knife, please note that this is a Brian Yellowhorse, not a David Yellowhorse that you noted in one of earlier posts.
