The king is here and I love it so far! It feels more like a big knife than a chopper, although it does chop quite well! Great balance on this one and the usual comfy Becker handles. Thanks for talking me into picking up a 9, The Warrior The Warrior and others! Not sure if I want to strip this one, or leave it to wear away naturally... We'll have to see...

In the spirit of the 9, post up a pic of yours!

Congrats - the BK9 is a great blade. You instantly know why it is considered the king.
This.

Congrats man. You'll be addicted to it in no time. I love how light and nimble it feels in the hand, especially for that size blade. As far as I'm concerned, Ethan knocked that one out of the park.

You've got one of the best looking 9s out there! Well loved and well worn...you should let me bring that edge back to life for you!
She is a well loved blade.
Oh, I'll send it there one of these years. :D

Oddly enough, I've never used a 9. I began to see the error of my ways, and tried to trade for one a while back, but didn't get any hits. It's a shame that I have no exposure to it, seeing as it is "the king". It's on my short list of Becker models to eventually acquire.

Let me know how you like it. You may convince me to reinvigorate my efforts to acquire one.

You'll love it, when you get it, and get out and use it. Even without using it, it feels great in the hand, but once you do, you won't want to put it down. It's been my go to for some time now.

The 9 helped me make this spoon shaped club. It might have made it to actual spoonhood but the kids stole it and used it to beat things. Remarkably adept at finer knife chores for a big blade. Although I've never applied for official beckerhead status, I understand the rules. Rule #1- you must own a 9. You can't not...or so I've heard :)

Nice! Yet another well loved nine.

I use it quite alot in the afternoon when runnin' my hunting dogs down along the creek, clearing a path , choppin' willows, cotton wood, oak, and cat-tails, other dead branches, carried down when the creek was full and rushin
