My 9 arrived on Friday. What a beast of a knife! I totally dig the size and heft of it. I also picked up micarta scales for it. Now just have to dye them my signature red.

I've never modded mine, but I've had plans drawn up for some time. There's a been a few 9 mods around here. Mostly deramping, and rounding out the clip point.

Well, if I'm going to post my 20,000th post, what better way to do it, than in a BK9 thread, talking BK9's? Yes, some have sharpened the clip. There was even a model, the BK9HH, that came with a sharpened swedge.

congratulations.. i just realized that my 3rd anniversary passed by as well. time flies.

would it be sacrilegious to say i would love a BK9 with a flat spine and a drop point? no camel hump, gimping or swedge?

i know...i know..broken record.

i am doing some stuff to make a better grippy surface for the scales that come with the knife...stay tuned.

Thanks Tanker most know me for my Somewhat extensive Becker Collection, but as you see they get used when the opportunity arises, Only BK9HH I have seen in 7 years, also look out for the BK7SG another rarity and of coarse the HOLY GRAIL Down in the Butter Basement or Buried in the backyard somewhere
