Awesome, thanks Eric! I got a USPS ship notification and I thought to myself: "Damn! That's some fast shipping!" It was within minutes of placing the order. Good work! I'm looking forward to the knife!
 
Just ordered one. Hopefully it makes it north of the border before my next hunting trip!

Anyone recommend where to get a nice sheath for it?

Well, it will ship tomorrow and to Canada usually only takes 5-7 days so it should be to you next week sometime.

What are you looking for in a sheath? Kydex, leather, cordura?

That's great Eric, thanks! I think a kydex sheath would be great, as they don't soak up blood and dirt like leather does.
 
So the Hairy Carry doesnt come with a sheath then? does the sheath you sell in the website carry on your belt or no? I will hopefully be ordering one really soon, I love the looks of it and 154cm!
 
I am having one made by Jeff at www.rainwalkercreations.com ,He just made this one for me and it fits like a glove.

I got mine this morning- man that was fast! What a sweet little knife. I can't believe I passed on them at Blade. I was in sensory overload at that point, and didn't know what I was doing. I really like the handle on the HC- it feels great. I'm comparing it to my Active Duty right now, and I think I actually prefer the HC handle. Side by side, the HC and AD are very similar knives- the blade profile is almost identical. Except the HC doesn't have the annoying monster choil that the AD has, that has always bothered me. And the handle on the HC is a smidge longer- and flat so you could hammer with it if you had to. Very cool.

I really like 154CM- I've carried folders made from that steel for years and have never had any problems with any of them. The HC is way thicker than any of those folders- it's built like a tank. It should stand up to normal use pretty much forever. Good stuff!
