Another I'm looking at is the Boone. This appears to be new and made from 52100 steel, rather than their traditional A2. I assume the finger-guard is the only difference between it and the Boone II. One of their "Classic" series, along with the Teddy. 5" blade and a little over 9" overall. I saw this posted early on. I'm really starting to like this one.
So far:

1) Boone or Boone II (little over 9")
2) Gameskeeper (little over 10")
3) Teddy (little over 11")

Going with the Boone II with Amboina burl handle.

Thanks for all your suggestions! It was a difficult choice, but this one just jumped out as a shape, size, and style I was familiar with growing up.

This is so sleek... Thanks for the recommendation, but I have very traditional tastes in hunting knives.

And, by "very traditional", I mean the kind I grew up with. :)
