I picked up this small integral EDC fixed-blade knife from Haley at Blade Show. It was one of her “MS” Test Knives and has her damascus blade and bolster along with a beautiful carved blackwood handle. The skillfully contoured handle fits perfectly in the hand. Haley started making great handles very early on. My Haley JS Test Hunter has a very comfortable and ergonomic handle as well.

It's no surprise that small fixed-blade EDC pieces are getting VERY popular as they provide a nice changeup from carrying a folder every day, especially when accompanied with just the right sheath such as David Seward created for this piece.

David created this beautiful right or left hand carry horizontal cross draw tooled leather and lizard skin sheath. Notice how he continued Haley’s wood carving pattern on to the leather sheath. The sheath is a beautiful work of art on it’s own.

OAL: 7”
BL: 3”

I should be receiving Caleb’s image of this knife soon and will post it up.
As always, thank you in advance for your views and comments.

Kevin -- are you really going to use that work of art? Great acquisition and fun to have obtained both JS and MS test pieces of similar ilk.

Very nice, though I'm not sure about the raised spine on this size knife. But that is just personal preference. She makes a really nice knife.

Kevin, Great addition to your collection. I did get a chance to handle this one. Great feel in the hand. Dave did the knife proud with his sheath.

Yep Bing, there's a lot to be said for a great knife and a great sheath, but when both come together so well; well that's a thing of Beauty.

From an aesthetic perspective the raised spine is purely up to individual preference, however from an ergonomic perspective the raised spine comes in very handy on smaller knives. The thumb rests very comfortably there.
