He asked me if I'd do this months ago. I finally got it last week and stripped the black coating off.

Still need to finish sanding the blade and possibly seeing if I can't sharpen this thing. It will get some sort of patina also.

The handle is walnut with stainless hollow pins and red liners.

It's cloudy and wants to rain so the pics are kinda crappy.

Awesome AVATAR! BEST MOVIE EVER!
I love the WSK..so you didnt make it right...who made it? It looks pretty good. Gene

I will have Bruce make a sheath for it at some point. I need to get out and use the one I made for it first. I got the knife from Lytefoot here on BF. It is 1/4 inch O-1. It was completely hand made and sent off for heat treat. I really like the knife, just didn't like the black coating and the micarta handles.

looks good, nice job.

i like that the grind actually makes sense, being specialized for each portion of blade. with the tops it is just the same grind, which kindof defeats the purpose in the first place.

I agree with you sig, the different grinds fulfill the purpose of the blade. By the way, I received the passaround blade and I am taking it backpacking this weekend:thumbup:

I'm not a huge fan of the trackers but that looks fantastic. Those scales look great and I love the hollow pins.

how much does something like cost? id like to have some one make a real small version . im trying to join basic membership but having some issues just so i can damn search the forums. if anyone reading can make one of this similar without coating the price of a beck and pretty reasonable and make it alot smaller for what i want . pm or post or email please . thanks
