Over the past few years I have noticed a much bigger Robin here in central Indiana. These Robins are big as blackbirds. :yawn:
So, this is the question can blackbirds and Robbins interbreed with each other to produce this large bird that we are seeing here in central Indiana.

I almost showed my ignorance and asked if this was a sign Winter is coming to and end in your part of the country. Those fat little bastards are here all the time!
For us... the sign of great weather on the way is usually humming birds. Although I think global warming must have them confused... While at my aunt's in Astoria, OR for Thanksgiving (REALLY close to the mouth of the Columbia river/Coast) it was snowing AND there were two humming birds whizzing around.![]()
