This new one features a tapered tang and a slicey full flat grind. The balance is great and it feels very light as well as quick in the hand. This one is an ideal fine slicer, skinner, EDC, and will be great in the kitchen too. It is ground thin and will be easy to maintain.

I use my extensive heat treat regimen on 52100 steel to fully convert the carbon and reach maximum potential. I l like to run 52100 on the harder side (61-62 RC) for excellent edge holding. This one was easy to sharpen and is extremely sharp.

Very Nice.... DFK. I like the clean lines. again, very nice work.
Big thanks!

very nice . great blade length for the blade shape for a do everything knife .
Thanks and keep up the great work, you knives look top notch.

Another stunner, as usual, Mr. Fairly!
Thanks!

Very nice!
What's the blade thickness? 1/8"?

Cheers,
Grunde

Much appreciated! The blade was made with 1/8" stock and is just under 1/8" thick.

There is a decent amount of distal taper and a tapered tang which on this one keeps the strength where it is needed yet allows for a lighter, faster feeling knife.

I'm really tempted!

Another quick question: what kind of sheath is the knife delivered with?

Cheers,
Grunde
