I like to make other things besides knives...
Here is a walking stick with a hame top (the brass ball thingy) from a draft horse rig.
Overall length - 44 1/2" (can be cut to suit)
Diameter - 1 1/8" at top, 1" at the tip.
Wood - Seasoned Ash, stained and sealed
Weight - 750g (1lb, 10oz)
Top - Vintage 2" diameter ball hame top, solid brass, forced patina.
Tip - Brass ferrule with a hex head lag screw. Come with rubber tip cap as well.
