Can you use good used chain saw files.
and saw chain? I have a lot of them.
should make for an interesting mix.

Chainsaw chain can do it. I have a box that Joe Cop brought over. I not sure about the files, but what the hell we can try it.

I'll try to be there. I'm not sure if I will still have the cast on, or not, but either way I will have to do what I can with one hand. I can still hold a beer, though.:D :D

George- I've been following this thread. Sounds like a ton of fun. Could you swing by Duluth, MN. after you pick up Bruce? I'll wait on the corner of 2nd Ave. E. and Superior St. Just ignore the hookers, they yell at everybody like that!;)

I'm not sure how good bars will be but we'll see.

I think The replaceable tips would make an
interesting pattern with the roller star and the
bearings in them.

Jay: Smoke up some meat. Joe, is making venison chili. I'm making cacolia and my high test beans. If we run out of propane everyone can stick thier butts in the forge.
 
I`ll tell ya what,I`ll smoke a pork loin partialy and you can continue it in a stew or even cook it in a crock pot for about 4 hours till it falls apart.I know you come up with all these crazy sauces and stuff so maybe you can come up with something to slow cook it in.Let me know

Jay: sounds good I'll put it into one of my Nesco ovens to finish it of with red wine, garlic, onions, my hot relish ( Tom M. love this relish )and etc.

Hey Joe,
I have no problems showing anyone how I make a folder. Some people do it differently than I do, but I will teach techniques that I have developed and are working for me. I'm not worried about the competition, or worried about creating any competition, it has taken me a while to get where I am and and it will take someone else just as long as it took me. I'll see you there!! Or maybe before, going to do any forging this weekend? Coming to the show on sun?

looks like most of us are going to be pounding the anvil...so much more for me to learn at the forge... maybe some other time for folders...
 
Chuck: It is suppose to rain on Sat. and I haven't gotton in my canopy that I ordered to put over the press. I can't make the show on Sun. Helen's PCA quit and I have no one to stay with her.
