This is ahammer poll hawk forged from a 1080 steel ball peen hammer.A good hard working hawk.It has a 3" cutting edge and is appx 7 1/4" long overall.Light filework on the spine.Edge hardened and tempered..The haft is straight grain hickory. Stained, sealed with boiled linseed oil and finished with wax..

Sorry Qeth... I was eyeing Butch's oversized hawk last night, and it was almost too much to resist. I didn't have a chance when this one came along.

I use my semi bearded hawk I got from you often.

I just want to say I think it is great that you offer these on a regular basis and at such great prices. I have the feeling you know you could charge more but you like to put out a quality product that is affordable to a lot of folks. Thanks for that.
