Here's a hammer poll tomahawk forged from a piece of 1 inch square 1045. Blade and poll differentially heat treated. Aged patina. Handle is really nice curly maple.

O.A.L of head: 7 3/4 in.
Blade Width:3 in.
Hammer poll: Appox. 3/4 in. Sq. on the end
Handle length: 19 1/16 in.
