Hammer vs. Spike?

I personally like the spike. Makes one heck of a back scratcher !!!

Joke aside won't it leave your back looking like you spent the night doing the rumpy pumpy with taloned she-cat?

I smuggled the Cold-Steel Ball club under the name of "unique back-scratcher" because of my stupid bloody paranoid customs. Imagine if it was called "African Ball Headed WAR CLUB with death SPIKE!!!" then I would be arrested.

(The CS Ball club makes a good back scratcher or in a pinch it doubles as the world's longest dild...)

Anyone ever though of detachable spike? I mean the spike is less useful so when required you can detach it to leave a hammer poll.

Anyone can contact Mick Strider and suggest a hammer replacement for the spiky end of his Strider CR... I bet it'll definately work when breaking not too firm rock or bricks where the spike or blade usually gets stuck. The hammer will just crush so I suggest a sharp blade attachment and a hammer attachment making the new Strider CR being really the best!!!

I Will Definately Kill To Own ONE!!!

Those did exist once. Pipe 'hawks which had a removable pipe bowl which could be replaced with a spike.

I may be wrong but the pipe is for smoking right? Other than for show not many people smoke it right?

Seems like the past indian warriors thought about it already. Seems logical since when required they could modify their hawks into max damage version...

Not too good when Taloned He-Cat comes back early from work...

(i ain't stroking ur puss...!)

Ain't that the truth...OUCH !!
Single she cats...The way to go !

Where's the fun in that?

Back to the topic... Assuming if someone makes a hawk with a screw on one end on to which you can screw on a hammer or a spike with a variety of steel types for for different applications... I imagine it wouldn't be difficult and someone out there would buy it?

So peeps, how bad is the above idea? What are the possible problems?

I like the spikehawks better...
Doesn't necessarily mean I am right and you are wrong if your prefer the hammer...
In my experience so far, I prefer the spike...

Suppose it depends if you want just a weapon or if it's to be a tool as well (although i wouldn't really wantt o be hit with a hammer poll either.

Spikes look cooler, but aren't really as all-purpose a tool.

I think spike is invaluable for its digging capability for building bushcraft type stuff. you can easily make a mallet for pounding, and for small stuff like a tent peg a side of hawk head or a rock will do.
please explain to me what do you need a hammer for in the outdoors, thx.

Making man-traps. Pounding tent stakes. It's quieter than a .45, and much less messy. Use YOUR imagination, not mine...
