"Hammered" GW from the VetDayGanzaaa...

Thats a sweet lil blade,,,,,, the swedge and hollow grind really adds to it. Gr8 lil EDC IMHO. They should do that to the .27's, I'd buy either !!!!!! :thumbup:

I just got mine with the rest of my haul so no pix yet (borrowed Jerry's ;)), but first impressions has me believing that I have found my next EDC user GW. :thumbup: Looks to be .22" thick, but thanks to the top swedge which is damn near sharp itself, the blade has a nice pointy tip. It's hollow ground, which leads down to a nice decent working edge... pretty decent slicer for a thicker GW. :)

So, what do you all think of 'em??? :confused::) Anyone got pix of them getting broken in?? :D

Honestly, those ones really had me bummed I was too poor to take advantage. I EDC my GW every day, and that just makes them look so cool. I think I would like one with a thicker swedge, and have one almost sharp.

I have backed off on buying knives, but had I sent in an email for that Ganzaaa that would have been number one :thumbup:

I just received one of these from the Exchange. It's my first GW, and is certainly substantial for a small blade. I like it a lot.
 
It's nice but the Drunken or hammered AD has to be one of my most coveted knives!!! I know Jaxx has one. It is the sweetest AD variant next to the original off duty IMO.
 
There was one of those that sold on the Exchange for 230.00 just last week. Now I wish I had jumped on it.

That's correct and it is. It is also the very first Busse with this finish AFAIK. :cool: I nicknamed it the Drunken Duty because it has this hammered finish, this IS a Busse after all ;), and I'm guessing that Garth was experimenting with the finish while drinking high quality idea-inducing tequila. :D:thumbup: I was lucky to have scored it from the Creek a few shows back.
