The Long awaited HamerJamin 2010 video is finally here.
An approximately one hour fifty five minute instructional video filmed before a live audience at Tai Goo's smithy. Featuring Tai Goo and Ray Richard with special guest demonstrator Chuck Richards. In this video, Master Metalsmith Tai Goo demonstrates forging an integral bolster and performs hand sharpening and cutting demos. See Tai cleave a standing cigarette paper tube with one clean swipe. Blademaster Ray Richard demonstrates forging a knife blade and an integral socket spear point. Watch “Godzilla” nibble on hot steel with Ray behind the anvil. Bladesmith Extraordinaire Chuck Richards demonstrates forging a single edged knife blade.
"Hammerjamin 2010" focuses on hand forging techniques using simple blacksmith tooling. This video includes basic bladesmithing methods and also shows techniques that will prove interesting and informative to even the most advanced smiths.
