Hammocks - should I pull the trigger

I love my Clark North American.I actually do more camping in the winter than the summer. It's very comfortable even in the cold.

Oh btw.....you can score in a hammock.:D

I like my Byer Amazona, has a built in mosquito net, real small and light. I carry a 8x10 tarp as well. It's big enough to cover two hammocks if need be....live in Hawaii so I haven't experienced very cold weather but have froze my butt off a couple nights using a SnugPak Jungle bag for my sleeping bag. I've learned that you need a little more blanket when using a hammock. The underside gets really chilly with a little breeze.

Another +1 for the Hennesey. I use mine camping for 3 seasons. When its cool I put my thermarest mattress under my bag. Really a nice setup.

warbonnet blackbird, one of the best sleeps ever, tried it for the first time in early sept., still getting used to setting up and all but i wont go back to a tent. hammock forums has a ton of info. i cant waite to get back out with it again!

I should be getting my Blackbird in two weeks. It seems to be one of the best praised hammocks being built today.
