It was actually wonderful to work with. I used fresh ceramic Cubitron belts going SLOW on a contact wheel, and finished the shaping with needle files and sandpaper.

CCH is a blast ain’t it? Addicting stuff.
 
I love color case hardening on rifles...don’t see much of it on knives...looks great!...
