Okay, guys, help me out with a couple of hamon questions
1. How fine do you finish the blade before etching?
2. How long do you etch?
3. How do you finish the blade after etching?
4. Do you finish out the hardened and softer sections of the blade differently?

I take mine to 600 - 1000 then etch 6-8 hours in room temp vinegar. clean with soap and water then hand buff with 0000 steel wool.
