this is my all purpose model. Brian picked out the handle material. I had a nice peice of cocobola burl with an x in the middle. I tried a new method with my hamons where the non hardened area would have an etched or aged look and the hardened polished. I am very happy with the results, I think it came out great!! Enjoy Mist!

nice man, that cocobolo looks familiar!

I have wanted one of Matt's hamon knives since I saw the first one. This is my first knife with a hamon, and I think it's an awesome first!

Love it! The blade shape and the hamon look just about perfect. I think I'm coming around to Mistwalker's preferred blade size. I used to want fixed blades to all be 4.5-6", but blades along this size range are really usable.

Man, I really dig that handle too. That X in the grain is awesome!

Ok, I gotta go do something productive now and quite scrolling through these pics :)

That's a great looking knife. Everything works together, and the pattern looks very usable. Nice work!

Thanks everyone!
I hope you enjoy it Brian.
I put a nice thin but not to thin grind on this thing and it is wicked sharp! I gotta put it in the mail I am growing partial!

Lol, if you can manage to let go of it, I have no doubts of enjoying it man! Really looking forward to getting my hands on it!
