Finally the hamon comes out, it helps to use a correct steel that is conducive to the process. Thanks for the tips on the last question.
Here are some blades, forged and shaped, ready for initial grinding.

Here they are after grinding, ready for the clay.

Clay has been applied and slow dried and baked at 350 for one hour.

Heat treat done, looking good, ready for tempering and then the real work begins.

Finished razors. Hamon could be brighter but maybe next time.
Red and black micarta, forged 1095. Quilted maple with forged 1095.
