That is an amazingly beautiful knife. The handle is something I've not seen before - almost appears to be embers in a a campfire glowing from within. I am not schooled in knife making and would like to know how that handle is created. A work of art.

The handle is made using a product called alumalite. It's basically a clear resin. The color combinations are only limited by your imagination. When you use alumalite with another product, in this case maple wood, it's called casting. The wood is placed in a mold and the resin poured on top of the wood filling all the voids. Then it's placed in a pressure tank and pressure is applied for a specified amount of time. When it dries you ciur it up and you have a stable handle material.
Actual pretty simple but does take some practice. I didn't make this set I orders it, but I have made some in the past.
Thanks for taking the time to leave your kind. Moments.

Sorry for all the spelling and grammar mistakes, I'm doing this on my phone.
Anyways, thanks for all your positive comments. I appreciate them.
