Hey Rich, good to hear from you, spare handle's is without a doubt a neccessity,i still throw every one i forge and i can break em on a regular basis. How's the Bear Claw doing keeping it close at hand i hope :thumbup:Steve,
That is another awesome looking piece!!
I've missed seeing your posts with all of the nice looking hawks to tempt me.
Good to see you posting again.
I have gotten into throwing the hawks I got from you. I have found that buying spare handles is mandatory!
It is a ball. My brother in law and my sister are still better than me.
I gave them one and they get to practice more than me though. It is a fun thing to do while smoking meats, barbecuing and drinking beer on a warm spring day!
I look forward to seeing more of your work. Always looking to the next need! HeHe
crossada i really like the way the ladder pattern exploded 2/3rd's of the way out toward the bladethat is a really striking pattern on the damascus:thumbup:
Steve, you gotta compile photos of your work somewhere on the internet so people can see it. Your art is amazing.
pretty sweet
Outstanding. Nice work.

The Bear Claw sits on the nightstand next to my bed. I do love that lovely damascus pattern you get. I would enjoy a bowie with a 10-12 inch blade in matching steel and wood someday. Now that would be a pair!![]()
Been there Done that with the web-site stuff, bigger PITA than it was worth, and your right the word Flooded is putting it mildly. And i realy like the ladder pattern to dan-gI have to agree on that home page gallery action. If we could see a gallery of your work it might be iresistable to purchase. Also, theres quite a few custom makers with less skill who have active website's, with purchase sections, prices, etc...
Most websites are hosted for free or minimal cost and you just add pic links for the gallery and a contact link. the only downside is, If your work became more available you might get flooded with orders.
Im sure someone else has thrown this out there.
PS lovely ladder damascus
