Hand axe with a beard .

Hi Hawkys,
Thought i throw this one on here i just finished .
Forged from 1 inch coil spring ,squared then slit .Then forged to 90 degree and then
the beard was drawn out and small ears as well .


Leather wrap with brass studs ,haft is spotted gum.
bit of norse engraving the inter locked 3 triangles is Odens sighn
apparently

That´s nice looking viking-style axe. Which steel is used for that one? I like the mirror polished blade of the head. The filework seemed to be really hard work. Nice at all!
