Hand filling my first Karambit

So after ht/tempering, I decided to patina the blade. Left it in white vinegar/cider mix overnight. after that i wanted to give it a stonewash look but i couldnt find any stones... so i went with a coin wash and this is the result.

Those look good (but I would love to see a close-up). What is a 'coin wash'?
