This is a fine cutting instrument with a very thin blade

Steel: Hand forged from 1084FG 1" flat
OAL: 7.25"
Cutting edge: 3.375"
Thickness: ~1/8" at the maki - tapers to ~1/32" at the tip
Grind: Flat
Finish: Satin and cold blued
Hardening: Differentially clay hardened but without hamon
Handle material: Black maki (cyanoacrylate soaked) with sting ray skin underlay
