Hi all,
Here's the specs for this one:

Blade is 6-1/2" long, overall length is 12". Spine is .210" thick at the guard,
and tapers evenly the whole length of the blade.
The blade 1-7/16" wide at the widest.
Steel is 1095, forged from 1/4" X 2" flat stock.
I used clay on the back to produce the wavy hamon. This is my first hamon,
so I was pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out.
Guard is bead blasted 316 stainless. Spacers are nickel silver and black Micarta,
also bead blasted.
Handle material is Osage Orange, with lot's of figure.
Weight is 11.9 oz. with the balance point right at the guard.
Price is $175, plus shipping, which would probably be around 4 bucks.

Thanks for looking!

Longbow,
Yes, I do accept paypal.
I don't have a sheath made for this one, but I could make one for $20 extra.
Thanks for asking!
Phillip

I am trying to justify the buying of the knife to myself. Well actually already justified it to myself, my wife is the one I am trying to convince. I freakin love this knife. It would be my last forged hunter, it will make me a better hunter, it will make me complete. Not buying the line? Neither is my wife:( But I am definetly working on it. Great work, keepem sharp

Just tell your wife it's for her, and then borrow it often. :D
Or tell her Father's day is coming up, and this would be the perfect gift.
If you aren't a father yet, tell her you're buying it for your first future kid.
Oh well, good luck. :D

VERY nice hamon. Do you have a picture of the whole knife?

Thank you.
I tried getting a photo of the whole knife, but my camera only takes good pictures up close, set on "macro". Could just be me. :) I'll see if I can get one for you.

Ed,
I tried to upload a photo of the whole knife, but my server isn't serving right now. I think I could email it to you though. If you want me to, send me your e-mail address.
Thanks,
Phillip

Hi,
I finally got a picture of the whole knife uploaded. Here it is.
I'm sorry it's not more clear...
Thanks for looking,

Edited to remove crappy photo. :D

That's a beauty. I've been hoping longbow would grab it so I could stop checking to see if it was still here ;)

Very nice! I am interested - but can you tell me what you hardened this one to? Thanks.

I think it's 58-60 RC.
Thanks for asking!

Thanks for getting back with me Phillip. Unfortunately since I originally posted, I succumbed to "Dozieritis" again and depleated my "knife $$" for now. I really like the worlk you are dooing and I'll keep an eye out for more of your stuff.
