This is the prototype of our Scandi brother laminated series. This is the 4th brother - the largest one. 3 layers of laminated steel. L6 on the cutting edge. Lapland curly birch handle. Custom dyed (sadle tan) and hand stitched leather sheath. I am selling the first prototype - the one in the pictures,

That is gorgeous. That handle looks like it would just melt into the hand like butter! Very nice work.
 
Super job!!! Looks like a Mora that died, went to heaven...got the sh$t upgraded out of it, and was returned to planet Earth.
 
Very nice. Can you tell me a bit about the tang and how it is secured to the handle?

The tang is about 2/3 of the handle length. We do use a special stationary horizontal drill/peger to make the hole in the handle as much as possible precise for the tang. Handle is tightly punched on using high performance Bison polyurethan glue. Also the guard for extra strength is glued together with the wood.
