Good day :)
today I would like to present two hand-forged blades made of 80CrV2 steel in the Yakutian style.
The blades are designed for right-handed users. On one side they have forged fullers and on the other side a one-sided convex grind

Nice to see a Yakut blade. Most folks know Puukko blades, but aren't familiar with their Siberian cousin.
The history of the concave forged backside was to stretch out scarce knife steel to a wider and lighter blade.
The Yakut was the EDC of a Siberian hunter.
Today, you see them factory made with a ground fuller instead of the traditional forged recess. I prefer the forged look.
