Hand grip on Loveless style knife

I've seen a few different designs of knives listed as being made such that the pinky finger is to be placed on the butt of the knife when the knife is held in a grip.

Is the Loveless style knife designed this way too. I have a knife that is made in this style and it's handle is just a little on the small side and almost forces me to hold it with my pinky around the butt of the knife. I didn't know if it was just that this particular knife made on the small side or if it was intentional in the design so that it follow a certain standard, if you will.

I tried to search for pictures of loveless style knives being held and was unable to find them or a description of it either.

Any ideas?

It is the specific handle. Loveless knives are 4 finger knives... not to say some aren't for smaller/larger hands.
