I took a stab at making some custom handles for one of my PM2s here is what I ended up with, there not perfect but I'm pretty happy with them.

That is great looking, my favorite looking para scales!

Very nice lookin' scales! Much better than the orginal g-10.

What's the cutout for ?

Fantastic job on your 1st. attempt at making scales. Looks like you done a few before this pair.

I didn't like the hole in the side until I realized it follows the skeltonized liner hole. I probably wouldn't have put the hole in but it's pretty cool looking.

On the upside, the handle hole looks like it facilitates grip when drawing from the clipped position in the pocket. On the down side it looks dangerous, like your pinky could enter the hole and contact the edge. Cigar cutter?

I love cherry, a queen among domestic hardwoods.

Looks nice and incredibly well made. I'm not a big fan of the cutout leaving the edge exposed though.

thanks, I wasn't sure about doing the whole but I think I like it it doesn't really expose the blade as much as you think. this is just my first try I may try to make another and fix a couple things I could have done better. I may also try making one out of walnut or maple. it only took me about 3 hours total time to make this one. the only tooks I used were a table saw, a dremel trio (small router), and palm sander.

Shut up and take my money!

FP, I'll let you know if I make any to sell, this one is not really worthy of resale, it has some flaws and I need to do a little sanding and fix the finish. but its great complement that you feel this is something you would pay for. I have never made a knife handle before but I think I did pretty well for my first try.
