You would think so, but it would be really difficult to get your finger in there. it does help grip when removing from the pocket. ..I agree on the Cherry, its my favorite wood. and it will only darken with age and turn a nice deap red.

Did you hog out the cherry to nest the liners using your Dremel?
Are your hands that steady, or is there a jig or some setup you used to facilitate?
I ask because I'm doing something similar, but in reverse, with Becker liners. I can remove material, but I have a heck of a time following the lines precisely.

That's awesome man. I like it a lot more then I thought I would when i clicked on the thread. Wish I had a pm2 like that.
 
I'd be interested to find out how you milled out the nested liners, Eric. I tried it once without a mill and failed miserably... It looks like you've figured it out!
