Hand Sanding Jigs

Hey guys, any ideas (pictures would be great) for hand sanding jigs? I'm planning on spending the day fabricating jigs in the next week and would like some inspiration. I've practiced my googlefu and searched all of Nick Wheeler's threads for ideas. Now my curiosity has me writing this thread to see what else is out there. Thanks in advance.

Here is what I did for hand sanding. I put a long piece of 1/4" stock, ground a dagger shape tip and use it in my knife vise to hand sand.

Does this clamp leave the blade hanging off the edge of the bench... or does the bottom portion slide out?
