I finally got to converting my D/C SHBM into SATIN :D I've been wanting a satin one just like this one ever since I saw Cliff's. He's one of the 2 people who REALLY got me started on wanting SHBM's. I left some light grind marks on the blade complete with any blems of funny marking from the original machining and put a silky smooth finish on (2000G) and used some rubbing compound and chrome polish to get that final shine. What's really cool is that you can look at it at a few feet and it looks perfect, but when it hits the right light up close you can see all the grind lines and blems. Pretty neat  I'm happy with it.

I'll get more and better pics in the light tomorrow probably:

Yes more pics!! I have an AD that is going to get this same treatment next month!!

Oh, that's THAT SHBM. We know where it's been, and what it's done. You can't dress it up. It's reputation is ruined forever.

I will dispose of it properly for you, and save you further embarrassment.

No more shaving pics.

Please.

Make the bad man go away.

Between this guy and Princess Gunner it is no wonder that the market for previously owned Busse knives is soft.

I mean really… lets put something on the exchange like .....

“Thin Nick Kitchen Knife
[Other than being used to shave back hair (full Brazilians never attempted), sweated on for several hours, some toe nail trimming and toe jam removal the knife is Mint…]

I'll ship express mail and you can be making dinner with this knife by the end of the week:thumbup:

asking $435.00”

That's not abuse.

Besides, My Wife really likes Shiny Busse knives.

My Daughter in-law used the First INFI Police Recuit Variant(Shortened to 2" blade,Deep hollow Grind, Bead Blasted) to shave her legs with Three times!!
Back in 2000 or 2001.

If you have the Means to use a Busse to Clean Toe Jam, Why use anything else?

I would thing it pretty Manly to use a Straight Handled Battle Mistress for that, Scary in Fact.

Skeleton Key is much Easier and takes less Skill

Good Job Paul.

she's a beauty. The furthest I have taken mine is 800 grit and it looked awesome so I can only imagine how good yours looks. One thing, however, I don't remember seeing that one in your collection. That would not happen to be 360's would it?

It's a beaut! It looks great in that finish. The SHBM is the one blade I really miss in my collection. I may have to part with something else to get one!

Looks GOOD to me! :D ...Maybe someday I'll have my own... :sniff: LMAO Seriously, nice hand satin SHBM!! :D:thumbup:

It feels like silk to the touch...and it slides through anything it cuts better than ever. It's only getting sharper....which means: More sharpness tests :p jk. This one came from a stealth hog that did a very good job at hiding his SHBM. I however am part badger and can find these things and can be very annoying....

:p I was sneaking jawbreakers while watching a guy simultaneously getting a catheter and a chest tube (which squirted blood across the room) in the trauma room when I was doing my clinic time getting my EMT. I guess we don't share the same problem :D. Unfortunately my partner projectile vomited into the waste can before being rushed out. I think he chose the wrong career path....

Your daughter in law shaved her legs with a Police Recruit? Wow! She have a sister?!?!? :p

You can't begin to fathom the things I'd do with YOUR SHBM. Pleasant dreams! ;)

Sure thing! That'll be one FBMSE, one custom SFNO, and one Eu-17 please.
