Hand sewing, I need help

Pablo find a shoe repair shop and pay them to sew them on their machine,,
i have hand sewn everything for20 years.. when i made my leather apron i said why not pay a pro to sew it??
lots more /different stiches..

Your holes are too tight, take your awl and slightly enlarge every hole slightly before you start stitching. This will save your fingers and a lot of time sewing, keep a needle nose pliers nearby to pull the needles through when you back stitch, this is what I do.

I was just gonna say this. Your awl is too small for your needles.

I use a set of Dental Pliers. Smooth jawed and easy to manipulate.
