So, I'm looking for some thoughts on what your preferences would be and why for the NM SFNO.

Kind of hard to say without having held the handles...

The grooved look better.

But on the NMFBM, the hand-shaped handles felt fantastic, and much better than any other Busse handles I've ever held. So I might go with them....

If the hand-shaped are anywhere NEAR the hand-shaped Custom Shop SFNO's, hand-shaped HANDS DOWN!

It's just night and day. The swells in that center palm-swell aren't as severe. It melts into your hands. I love it.

Heck, I've got to sand down the handles of my HR-CE to get the same effect.

I like machine grooved. It has crock skin look and reminds me every time the first Busse knife i see and liked (FSH).

But I must agree that hand shaped handle do feel great in hand, less aggressive. Then, I always hv a tiny doubt if hand shaped handle are more slippery.

Hmmmmm

Having felt BOTH of the styles offered..(Man I love my job)

It really is a toss up....

I REALLY like the feel of the Hand Shaped (Like butta) but the machine run with the grooves feels REALLY good also.

I guess I will buy both:D:D:D

but if I had to buy one....

Hand Shaped cause I have really long fingers and it felt "Just Right"

but I still will buy both:D and a LE........ oh man....:eek:

I better work some more hours...LOL

OK, looks like hand shaped is the way to go.

Now if we only knew what colors were going to be available- Just black, tan, and snakeskin, or...

Hand shaped on the LE.

Grooved on the CG.

I like the machine cut the best. It just feels more secure in the hand and brings out the best look in the material's pattern. Of course YMMV:p

I'm really partial to machined handles. I try not to buy hand shaped handles if it can be helped.
