For you guys that can not (or refuse to) learn to sharpen on bench stones-
Go to Radio Shack and buy some of those little stick-on rubber feet for electronics. Stick them on your blade and use them as an angle guide. Closer to the edge= steeper angle. Toward the spine= shallow angle. When you are through, just peel them off.
After a while, you won't even need the guides.
