I am beginning the process of making a handle for my spyderco m4 mule. i am using a poly plastic material that i sourced from my work. the Amish use it to make Adirondack lawn chairs that we sell. i need some help with the hardware to attach the handle. does anyone know of a brick and mortar store i could find some hardware for it? would lowes have something that might work? maybe a store like "west marine", they sell a lot of stainless hardware. has anyone found something that looks good but dosent have to be ordered and shipped. i cant bring myself to order 3 tiny fasteners from an online vendor. also, if i am using an allen type screw how do you do your final shaping on the belt sander without damaging the screw finish?do i make the slab as one peice and shape it completly, then run it through a saw to make the two peices? any help would be very appreciated.

You may find these locally ina hardware store, although I hate slot screws
