I've got some HT'ed blade blanks I'm looking at getting some simple canvas micarta scales put on and some edges rough ground. Could be between 2-6 pieces depending on what kind of price I could get for the work--and I'm fine with finishing the job when it comes to contours.

As far as the handles, are you just wanting someone to epoxy the scales on and you finish them or do you want them completely finished? As far as the rough grinding of the edges could you be a little more specific? If you are wanting bevels ground on blades price will depend on the size of the blades. I am interested in doing this for you, just need a little more info. before I can quote a price. Also what color and thickness of Micarta do you prefer? And if you want bevels ground, what grit would you like them taken to? Also, I only do flat grinds with a convex edge, no hollow grinding.

As far as the handles go I just need the scales cut to shape/pinned/epoxied and the sharp edges knocked off. Thickness/color of the micarta desired is 3/8" natural canvas. As far as the edge grinding goes, convex is perfect and whatever the coarsest grit you typically use is fine. I don't need primary grinds done--just the edges. These are machete-like pieces, and so lack a primary grind.

So basically you just need these blades handled and the edges convexed so they can be sharpened. If that is correct I can do it for $35.00 per blade.

Yup! That's what I need. I'll send you some images to see if it changes anything. Thanks for the reply!
