Handle maker

Bought a MKC speedgoat and while the handle shape is comfy I’m really hoping for some scales at some point. Rumor has it they are testing some scales for it. If they don’t release them, is there anybody online that could make some micarta scales?

I dunno who is making custom scales these days, but that would be pretty easy to make scales for, if you have a drill and a way to cut the micarta to shape and epoxy and a file/some sandpaper and a couple pins:
- Cut slabs to fit inside the frame, need to be as thick as the frame
- Cut handle slabs and sand the edges to fit the handle cleanly
- epoxy them all into place
- drill holes for the pins, make the pins the right length & epoxy them in place
- use the file and sandpaper to contour and finish the scales
