Here is a piece of black cherry burl that would make an awesome knife handle for someone out there.

Tree was cut down in June / July of '08 and I just cut the burls out of the top last month. So the wood has partially air dried and after I cut the burl up, I sealed the piece so to prevent checking.

This particular burl consumed a crotch making the one side very unique. There are some bark inclusions about 4 1/2" inches from the end that may require filling. The burl is not stabilized.

The price is $10 plus shipping, and the size is 6" long by 1 7/8" wide by 7/8" thick.

If you would like this piece, just say "I'll take that" as a response and send me a pm concering payment and shipping.
