I appologize if I an either reposting this site, or spoiling someones stash of decent prices/types.

I was looking around for some handle materials to try my hand some scales for a bk24 and found this: http://www.alphaknifesupply.com/default.htm

I guess I'm confused as to what we are looking at? Your link just went to AKS. Was there something specific we were suppose to see?

Not really, I am rather new to this, and since I stumbled across them, I thought I would share the info for those who didnt know of them.

I suspect you would be hard pressed to find many knife makers who don't know about AKS, as far as suppliers go. Chuck and Jessica are a great asset for us and super friendly to deal with as well.

Great to know. I'm glad I found a reputable dealer right from the get go. Thanks.

Yes, you will not go wrong with AKS. I ordered from them today, actually I order from them every few weeks.

AKS is one of the few that combines the best prices, materials and service.

I've been dealing with them since there sart up several years ago. As a matter of fact, Chuck helped me sell a couple of my first liner locking folding knives by giving me an introduction . Frank

Agreed. They also support BladeForums with a dealer membership, and Chuck has given me a great deal of invaluable advice (regarding both technical data and stuff about knifemaking/the knife market in general). Because of all those reasons, I check with AKS first whenever I need handle materials, and very rarely do I need to look elsewhere

I like that I can try out a new steel by buying enough for one knife for a couple bucks rather than forking out $30+ shipping for a big piece.

Reminds me, I need to place an order soon......
