Handle Material

I like the linen micarta that TOPS and RAT Cutlery use the best.

I don't like a lot of handle materials because they're toxic.
Plastic and especially rubber handles can off-gas toxic chemicals which are used in their manufacturing.

And the resins used in micarta don't ??
EDIT: I see that was already addressed :D

My first preference is wood handles, then micarta, G10, thermorun, or kraton, not necessarily in that order. I don't really care much for metal handles.

Titanium feels nice, silver is good too. Check the facon pics I just posted.
For a knife that is going to be abused, good wood for something classic, or rubber/plastic for a more functional blade.

No expert here, but if you want to know, I want my outdoor knives to have wood or synthetic handles. Why? Try using a metal handled knife in a blizzard with below freezing temperatures and you won't have to ask why.
For EDC in town, I have no preference.
