Here are some pics of the handle materials I have on hand right now. It's mostly stabilized woods...but I also have giraffe bone, stag and some synthetics (which are easy to come by ;) ).

First 2 pics have handle materials already mostly cut out and glued to liners.

You can also see the stabilized curly maple I have....lots of it. :D
Actually...this is only the "premium" stuff.

In this pic...are all the high-dollar materials...Koa, Kauri, Ironwood, Giraffe bone, stag, jigged bone...and a box of "user-grade" stabilized woods.

In the two boxes underneath (in the middle) are more stabilized curly maple. The middle box is two-tone...the bottom is regular figure. Still quite curly...but not exhibition grade.

Next in line...my premium box of stabilized woods.

Box on the left is my "toss box"....extras...cut-offs...small pieces...irregular sizes, etc. The tray on the right has specific pieces for specific orders.

What would shipping be for the very nice lighter yellowish piece in the center, the piece two pieces below that, the greenish one next to that, and the wavy ironwood piece at the top? Also, is the knife part of your offer? :D :D

$8 to be safe. Thanks!

knife not included!

Looks like you've got stock for years to come.

You're going to be making a lot of Knife Knuts very happy!:)

Hey Daniel, how much for shipping on the stag pieces wrapped in blue tape, the burly looking chunk to the right of that, and the other two bone looking pieces in the center of the picture? Thanks, it would be going to 76450

Rodney

I'd like a piece or two, but how much would shipping to Canada cost me? Can you fit handle slabs into an envelope? :)

Daniel, If its not all spoken for, i would like a few pieces. the sister-in-law asked that i make her a white handled knife for herb cutting (bone or antler).
and any of the woods would suit me fine. let me know and we can work out something to cover it (and the shipping). thanks - azmike

I do have paypal....if you don't mind covering the 2.9% + 0.30 fee.

= dan AT kosterknives DOT com

Let's say this:

For any one or two pieces...shipping to the Continental USA would be $5.

For a half-dozen or more....it goes in a flat rate box (or similar) = $8

If it fits in a padded envelope = $3 (need to buy the envelopes)

www.usps.com has international rates...I think airmail would be comparable in price...but might take a long time....priority would be better....but too expensive.

I used to have a piece of oak burl (rare)...but didn't see it when I was diggin' around today.

I've got other woods tougher than oak with better finishing properties...if you're interested.

How about a piece of bocote? Easy to work, hard wood. Email me your address and $5 to cover shipping and I'll send you a piece.
